Kaiji Tomita: Amazing Japanese Man Who Cured Many People’s Illnesses with No Drugs and Only Hand Power [Episode 2]

This is a true story of a Japanese man who cured many people’s illnesses with no drugs and only hand power.

Kaiji Tomita was a Japanese man living in Osaka in Japan in the Taisho era (1912-1926).

Tomita learned the original Reiki directly from Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki at the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai (Usui Reiki Therapy Society).

After that, in order to spread Reiki in Japan, Tomita opened his clinic in front of Ichioka Junior High School (the current Ichioka High School) in Minato-ku, Osaka, where he established the “Tomita Hands-on Healing.”

Amazingly, Tomita gained a miraculous healing power to cure all kinds of diseases in only 10 hours of Reiki training.

In this post, I would like to introduce the story of how Tomita cured many people’s illnesses with no drugs and only hand power.

Tomita Cured Children’s Middle Ear Infections with Reiki

For a month and a half, since Tomita learned Reiki therapy at the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, he had been trying his best to heal a person’s illness.

However, he had no concern for his own child, who went to the doctor every day with a middle ear infection.　

At the end of the month, his wife was looking at the family budget and sighing.

Our life would be a lot easier if we didn’t have to pay the doctor’s bill.

Tomita’s child had been to the doctor more than seventy times until then, but his middle ear infection had not gone away.

Oh, I see.

Tomita suddenly realized and he opened the notebook in which he had written down the Reiki treatments.

It said,

Middle ear infections can be well treated with Reiki.

So, he immediately began to treat his child’s middle ear infection with the prescribed procedure.

Amazingly, the pus stopped after three or four treatments.

In this way, his child’s middle ear infection was cured with his Reiki treatment without going to the doctor.

Seeing this, his wife said,

Didn’t it just happen to be the right time for his middle ear infection to heal naturally?

Or maybe it was…

Tomita said that to his wife, but he thought about it.

I want to know what this actually is!

Fortunately, Ohashi’s child was having trouble with a middle ear infection.

So Tomita thought,

I’ll try to treat that child’s disease!

Then Tomita began to treat the Ohashi’s child.

Amazingly, after three or four treatments, the child’s middle ear infection was cured.

It healed so easily that it could have just happened to be the time to heal too.

Thus Tomita needed another sick person.

The next day, on Sunday, Tomita spent all day visiting his friend’s houses and finding a child with a middle ear infection.

Fortunately, he found that Kamiyama’s child had a middle ear infection.

So Tomita asked Kamiyama to treat his child and he was entrusted with the treatment of the child.

Amazingly, Kamiyama’s child also got better with his Reiki treatment.

Now that all three children had been healed in the same way with his Reiki treatment, it could never be a coincidence.

So, Tomita felt as if he really became a medical doctor specializing in middle ear infections.

Tomita Cured 12 Family Members of Illnesses in the Same Period

By the way, there were 12 people in Tomita’s vicinity who had come to Osaka from their hometowns.

Tomita would meet with them every month to enjoy nights of fellowship.

And the topic of that month’s meeting was all about Tomita’s hands-on therapy.

Chiyoko-san has been cured!

My child’s middle ear infection got better!

And so on…

There was a lot of criticism, but they actively argued with each other, not wanting to lose.

However, when their wives become ill, they came to Tomita to ask for help, saying,

I just need a little help!

When he tried the treatment, it appeared to be very effective, and Tomita was quite prosperous at that time.

It was a daunting task for him to take on the illnesses of the 12 family members on his own.

But Tomita did his best to treat them, hoping that this experience would also contribute to his research.

With such a large number of families, it was sometimes necessary for him to treat them until midnight.

Furthermore, his friends and people he met everywhere he went because of his business relationships spoke of his Reiki treatment as amazing, and thus the number of clients for his treatment gradually increased.

Even before Tomita returned from the government office where he worked, his clients were already waiting for him in front of his house.

They didn’t have to pay for the treatment, they didn’t have to take the medicine, and nevertheless, they were cured.

So they came to his house every night as if that was their job, no matter how it was late.

They might have been fine with that, but Tomita couldn’t stand it and finally refused all their requests more than once.

Tomita Finally Achieved His Goal of Curing His Wife

When his wife said that there was something wrong with her, Tomita suspected it was morning sickness.

He’d already had enough just hearing about morning sickness.

But this time… he thought.

If I give her a Reiki treatment, she will be cured.

So I’ll try my best to cure her.

If her morning sickness goes away without a hitch, it would be a big deal.

When thinking about it, the membership fee for the Usui Reiki Therapy Society is nothing, really.

I’ll be able to cure her!

Tomita was determined to treat his wife.

He was truly motivated to heal her.

Then he began to treat his wife.

When Tomita woke up the next morning, his wife was cooking on her own.

Oh! I can handle it!

He thought.

At meals, she was the same as usual.

So, he treated her for a couple of days in a row.

Since then, his wife did not complain of any malfunction.

Tomita asked her how she was feeling.

She replied,

I had a watery discharge once or twice a day… but that was the only time I felt unusual in my body.

There was nothing unusual after that!

Then a month or two passed and there was no problem with her.

At this rate, my Reiki treatment for her will be a success!

Tomita informed his parents in the country that his wife’s morning sickness was gone.

He and his wife were very pleased.

This result alone is enough to make the study of reiki therapy worthwhile!

Just then, his friend Matsui’s wife was also suffering from morning sickness.

So, Tomita immediately tried to treat her, as he had heard that the mother’s life was at stake if she did not give birth to the fetus.

When Tomita visited Matsui’s house the following evening, Matsui said,

My wife is feeling much better and she’s just now going to take a bath!

Her morning sickness was completely cured after two sessions of Reiki treatments.

It was so strange that his friends often asked Tomita.

How can you cure a disease?

However, although he had cured many illnesses, even Tomita himself had no idea how he could cure the disease.

Neither he nor his friends knew why, but he cured more and more of people’s diseases with his Reiki treatments.

In this way, Tomita’s initial goal was accomplished anyway.

After that, Tomita saved a number of seriously ill patients with intractable diseases that doctors were unable to save.
