This is a true method for developing the amazing Reiki healing ability to cure any disease in just 5 days of training.

Kaiji Tomita was a Japanese man living in Osaka in Japan in the Taisho era (1912-1926).

Tomita learned the original Reiki directly from Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki at the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai (Usui Reiki Therapy Society).

After that, in order to spread Reiki in Japan, Tomita opened his clinic in front of Ichioka Junior High School (the current Ichioka High School) in Minato-ku, Osaka, where he established the “Tomita Hands-on Healing.”

Amazingly, Tomita gained a miraculous healing power to cure all kinds of diseases in only 10 hours of Reiki training.

Surprisingly, according to Tomita, such healing power is inherent in all humans, and anyone can acquire it if they train in the right procedures.

By the way, how can we develop an amazing Reiki healing ability like Tomita’s?

Generally speaking, in order to learn Reiki techniques, you need to get an attunement from a Reiki master, which costs a significant amount of money (ranging from about $100 to $1,000).

Hence, many people think that learning Reiki is expensive, don’t they?

But as a matter of fact, this is a misunderstanding that arises from a lack of understanding of the nature of Reiki.

Surprisingly, Tomita’s Reiki method is most unique in that it allows anyone to use Reiki in five days of training without attunement.

Here’s what some people who know Reiki might think of as follows.

Can anyone master Reiki without an attunement?

That’s not possible!

But those who think that way should focus on the following facts.

Didn’t Mikao Usui himself, the founder of Reiki, become able to use Reiki without receiving any attunement from anyone?

Therefore, you don’t actually have to pay a Reiki master to get an attunement in order to be able to use Reiki.

How was Usui able to acquire Reiki abilities without receiving attunement from anyone?

In fact, the secret lies in Kaiji Tomita’s Reiki method.

Fortunately, Tomita described in considerable detail how to develop his Reiki healing abilities in his book “Reiki to Jinjutsu: Tomita-Style Hands-on Therapy” which was published in 1933.

Therefore, anyone can master Reiki therapy without attunement for free by learning Kaiji Tomita’s Reiki training.

In this post, I would like to introduce how to master Kaiji Tomita’s reiki method on your own without attunement for free.

The Kaiji Tomita’s 5-Day Training Method for Mastering Reiki Therapy

Continuing on from the previous article, here I would like to share with you the details of Kaiji Tomita’s 5-day Reiki training.

The First Day

Sit calmly and quietly for about 30 minutes as described in the previous article (if you can do it for an hour, it is advantageous).

After sitting and putting your hands together, and chanting purifying words, take a few deep breaths so that you can easily harmonize your body and mind.

And at the end of the first day of sitting, you can perceive spiritual heat emitted in the palms of your hands that are put together, if you are aware of it.

The Second Day

On the second day, about 30 or 40 minutes of practice time is appropriate.

Of course, sit calmly and quietly and put your hands, and then purify your mind.

Here evoke the mood of mind-body harmony you felt when you sat calmly and quietly on the first day and try to continue to deepen that mood on the second day of sitting as well.

And at the end of the second day of sitting, besides the spiritual heat in your palms also increasing, you will be able to feel a tingling and numbing sensation in your palms.

The Third Day

On the third day, about 40 minutes of practice time is appropriate.

Here you should evoke and remind yourself of the significance of sitting calmly and quietly, and after sitting and putting your hands, you should respectfully recite the words for purifying your mind.

When you increase the harmonious mood of mind and body obtained by sitting in this way, the spiritual heat (Reinetsu) in your palms will be generated sooner, and the tingling spiritual waves (Reiha) will be felt in your palms more strongly.

According to Tomita, if you practice in the following way, you will be able to feel these spiritual waves in your palms faster.

How to Practice Feeling Spiritual Waves

At the end of the practice of sitting, try to gradually open your palms a couple of inches to the left and right without disturbing the harmonious mood of mind and body obtained by sitting, as shown in Fig.4.

Figure.4 Practice to feel the spiritual waves.  As you open your hands left and right from a state of putting hands together, you will feel a greater sense of the spiritual waves in your palms.  On the other hand, as you bring your hands back into the form of putting hands together, you will feel your hands being drawn to each other.

Then you will feel a strong tingling spiritual wave in the palms of your hands.

Also, if you gently return your palms to the form of putting hands together, you’ll feel your hands being drawn to each other.

When doing this kind of practice, you must be especially careful not to disturb the harmonious mood of mind and body obtained by sitting.

After repeating the above practice four or five times, it is easier to feel the spiritual waves in the palms of your hands (see Fig. 5).

Figure.5  Imagining the radiation of spiritual waves.  According to Tomita, spiritual waves radiate from the entire surface of the palm of the hand and gather at a single point away from the palm.  Also, the wavelength of the spiritual wave is fine in the palm of the hand and increases as it moves away from the palm of the hand.

The Fourth Day

On the fourth day, about 40 or 50 minutes of practice time is appropriate.

As you sit in calmly and quietly, put your hands together, and chant the words that purify your mind, you will quickly attain the state of mind-body harmony that you acquired on the third day.

Therefore, on the fourth day, you can get a feeling of mind-body harmony quickly.

And your palms will also begin to generate Reiki in the same way as on the third day.

After about 20 minutes of sitting, now fold your hands together and place them on your knees, as shown in Fig.6.

Figure. 6  Practice to sit your hands folded together.  By folding your hands together over the lower abdomen just below the Tanden (the Lower Dantian in Chinese), you can emit Reiki in the same way as when you put hands together. According to Tomita, this method of folding your hands together in the lower abdomen is advantageous as an abbreviated method of putting your hands together.

Then, as you continue to sit calmly and quietly, Reiki will be generated from your palms as it did when you put your hands together.

Then, after about 10 minutes, put your hands back into folded hands together again and you will be able to generate Reiki in your palms more smoothly.

After another ten minutes or so of folded hands together, place your palms at right angles to each other, as shown in Fig.7.

Figure.7  Practice to feel one’s own radiated Reiki.  According to Tomita, when the left palm receives Reiki radiating from the right hand, a sensation is created as if a cool breeze is hitting a point in the left palm.

Sit calmly and quietly with the fingertips of your right hand a couple of inches away from the palm of your left hand, in a state of mental and physical harmony.

Then you will notice that there is one spot on your left palm where you feel cooler, like a light breeze hitting it.

According to Tomita, it’s a sensation caused by Reiki radiating from the fingertips of the right hand, centered on the middle finger, reaching the palm of the left hand.

Therefore, as you move the fingertips of your right hand to where you want them within the range of your left palm, you will feel the sensation of Reiki moving within your left palm as your right-hand move.

Performing these practices in addition to sitting in stillness is very advantageous for generating Reiki and feeling Reiki.

When you have finished practicing to feel Reiki, return your hands to the form of folded hands together again and chant the words to purify your heart, ending the fourth day of Reiki training.

The Fifth Day

On the fifth day, about one hour of practice time is appropriate.

You must proceed to sit calmly and quietly as you did on the fourth day.

Next, chant the words to purify your mind and sit calmly and quietly for about 20 minutes while folding your hands together, and both the spiritual heat and the spiritual waves will be well generated.

So, on the fifth day, you can practice feeling Reiki for about 20 minutes as you did on the fourth day.

Then bring your hands back into a state of folded hands together again, and after another twenty minutes or so, you will have both palms ready to emit Reiki.

Here, put your right hand on the shoulder of a person with a stiff shoulder, as shown in Fig.8.

Figure.8  Practice to treat shoulder stiffness and feel Byoukan (Reiki sensation of sick part).

In the meantime, keep your left hand on your knee, still in the same state of mind and body harmony as before, and keep your right hand on the person’s shoulder (in one place) without moving it for about 15 minutes.

Then the Reiki generated from the palm of your right-hand enters the area of the stiff shoulder of the person and begins healing it.

As a result, that person who receives your Reiki will have lighter shoulders, feel good, and have no more stiffness in his or her shoulders.

How to Feel the Reiki Sensation in the Area of the Disease

At this point, you will feel a tingling, numbing sensation in your right hand, which you place on that person’s shoulder.

Tomita calls this strange sensation a “Byoukan (Reiki sensation in the area of the disease).”

This Byoukan is the equivalent of “Byousen” in Jikiden Reiki, also known as “Hibiki.”

Acquiring this sense of Byoukan is one of the most important techniques of the Tomita style of Reiki therapy.

If the Byoukan in the palm of your hand is difficult to recognize, keep your right hand on the person’s shoulder and compare it to the sensation you feel in your left hand on your lap.

According to Tomita, the sensation you feel in your right hand is different from the sensation you feel in your left hand, but this different sensation in your right hand is Byoukan.

When you can perceive this Byoukan, you have graduated from the rudiments of Reiki.

If you take care of these basics of Reiki with great care and practice them over and over again, you can become a great Reiki practitioner like Tomita.

The details of Tomita’s Reiki treatments and tips will be introduced in the next article.
